A Biography on the Founder of the Darkside Collective Ministry International
Born Braedon Scott Robb on January 12, 1979 (in the City of Whitehorse, Yukon, Canada). His mother, of Japanese decent, was an elementary school teacher and his father, of Irish, Scottish, English, German and American descents, worked for the Government of Canada. To this day, "Braedon" continues to be his legal first name, but as of 1999 he stopped using his first name replacing it with his middle name.
Scott briefly lived in Yellowknife, which is on the north shore of Great Slave Lake in the Northwest Territories, before moving to Kingston, Ontario where he lived from 1987 to 1998. On August 15, 1998 he moved to Edmonton, Alberta to pursue a post secondary education and possibly start a career. Scott still resides in Edmonton to this day.
Scott had an uneventful and average childhood and breezed his way through the Public School system of Ontario, but tended to thrive from a young age in the subjects of Psychology, Law, Theology, Philosophy, and some Sciences. In 1996, he took an interest in literature on Satanism and started practicing and studying "the black arts" that same year. Later, in 1997, he decided to go public with his religious beliefs to mixed responses from everyone around him, most of them having the same absurd misconceptions that most people have about Satanism. That same year he joined Anton LaVey's Church of Satan, based in San Francisco, California, USA.
Scott attended college to complete his academic studies of Psychology (1999/2000) and take some professional web design & development (2000/2001) courses. In 2002 to 2004, he unloaded trucks in a local giant American retail chain as the assistant manager of the backroom-staff. In the fall of 2004 Scott enrolled in a Professional Security Academy in which he graduated second in a class of over 100 students. Scott immediately started with the best and most professional contract Security Company in Western Canada (Paladin Security Group Ltd.) on October 1, 2004 and went on to receive awards and commendations within the first year.
After a year-and-a-half Scott was promoted five times and was voted "one of the top five officers in the company", Scott was promoted a sixth time on September 1, 2006 to the position of "Shift Supervisor" on Paladin's flag-ship site but, after the contract on that particular site started to run down, he received a requested transfer on January 10, 2007. From January to September 2007 Scott was transferred to a total of five different "problem sites" that the company wanted to be cleaned up, and clean them up he did. The owners of most of these sites did not want him to leave, but when he was transferred to clean up another site, at least one of the clients terminated their contract because the other officers assigned to the site were insufficient.
In late August, and all through September, 2007 Scott received multiple job offers within the security industry from contract firms like GARDA Security and a few in-house Security Offices and also aspirations of joining the Alberta Sheriffs, Edmonton Police Service (EPS), or a City Peace Officer position. On August 31, 2007 Scott started working part-time with the security department of Century Casino & Hotel Edmonton. On October 17, 2007 Scott received a further offer for a full-time position at Century Casino with amazing benefits, Paladin made some counter offers, but none matched what Century Casino & Hotel Edmonton offered. Scott accepted Century Casinos offer and resigned his position with Paladin on October 31, 2007. However, Scott still has aspirations of joining the Alberta Sheriffs, EPS, or a City Peace Officer position within the next two or so years. On August 5, 2008 Scott was promoted to the position of part-time supervisor at Century Casino. In November of 2007, Scott decided to become a card carrying member of the Alberta Liberal Party and the Liberal Party of Canada and joined both by early December the same year.
In 2000, during Scott's studies of "the Black Arts" he made several discoveries that proved Anton LaVey was a fraud, all the evidence confirmed by reputable individuals including Anton LaVey's own daughters (Karla and Zeena), both of LaVey's ex-wives, Former Church of Satan executive and founder of the Temple of Set Michael Aquino, Burton Wolfe (known as the man who wrote the original introduction of LaVey's Satanic Bible), the San Francisco Police, the San Francisco Orchestra, and many others.
Scott decided to investigate the evidence against Anton LaVey as deeply as possible. His investigation turned up a few FBI files on LaVey (file numbers SF89-289 regarding allegations against LaVey in relation to a death threat against a U.S. Congressman, SF 31D-10807 regarding allegations of LaVey forcing young women into pornography and prostitution, and SF 9A-3580 regarding allegations of a death threat against LaVey) all of which painted a very different picture of LaVey then that which the Church of Satan lackies Peter Gilmore, Blanche Barton, and Peggy Nadrimira portray to the public. In one of these files on Anton LaVey, the following paragraph was included in the report following an FBI/Secret Service joint interview with Anton LaVey on October 31, 1980:
...LAVEY STATED THAT HE IS WELL AWARE THAT MOST PEOPLE ASSOCIATED WITH THE CHURCH OF SATAN ARE IN FACT "FANATICS, CULTISTS, AND WEIRDOS." HE STATED HIS INTEREST IN THE CHURCH OF SATAN IS STRICTLY FROM A MONETARY POINT OF VIEW AND SPENDS HIS TIME FURNISHING INTERVIEWS, WRITING MATERIAL, AND LATELY HAS BECOME INTERESTED IN PHOTOGRAPHY.
-FBI file number SF 89-289(the fact the paragraph says "lately has become interested in photography" also disproves LaVey's earlier claim that he worked as a Police photographer prior to the 1960s. It should also be noted that Anton LaVey declared bankruptcy despite all the money that was claimed to have been coming into the Church of Satan.)
This and other evidence against the credibility of Anton LaVey and the Church of Satan, as well as a disagreement over the practice of Satanism (in part that levels, or degrees, of Satanism should not be sold to anyone willing to pay for it), resulted in Scott resigning his Church of Satan membership in late January of 2000 and his subsequent efforts of exposing the Church of Satan as "frauds which are detrimental to the Satanic Community" had begun.
It is also interesting to note, based on the facts about LaVey and the Church of Satan, that LaVey is in fact a con-man and the Church of Satan is an illegal entity under Canadian law, whereas the Darkside Collective Ministry is in fact legal in Canada. According to section 365 of the Criminal Code of Canada it is, in fact, illegal to pretend to practice witchcraft, the section of the Canadian Criminal Code is quoted below:
Section 365. Every one who fraudulently
(a) pretends to exercise or to use any kind of witchcraft, sorcery, enchantment or conjuration
(b) undertakes, for a consideration, to tell fortunes, or
(c) pretends from his skill in or knowledge of an occult or crafty science to discover where or in what manner anything that is supposed to have been stolen or lost may be found
is guilty of an offence punishable on summary conviction
In short, section 365(a) says that anyone who pretends to practice "any kind of witchcraft, sorcery, enchantment or conjuration" is committing a criminal offence. Based on all the surfaced information on Anton LaVey, and the known information about the Church of Satan, they are a "religious movement" that attempts to swindle money out of people by pretending to be Satanists and practice what they have read conform to forms of "witchcraft, sorcery, enchantment and conjuration". Therefore, the Church of Satan's very existence is to rob you by pretending to be Satanists. Whereas, the Darkside Collective does not ask for money and 90% of any money raised through the sale of goods (such as the items sold in the online store) or services (like our vary own web design company) by the Darkside Collective Ministry is donated to children and animal protection charities. This makes the Darkside Collective Ministry legal within Canada. For this particular reason, the Darkside Collective Ministry is currently filing papers to register with Revenue Canada as a Religious Charity as well as with the Province of Alberta as a Religious Society. In accordance with the Canadian Human Rights Act, such registration would be relatively easy. However, with the misconceptions and outright lies circulating against Satanism the various government agencies are dragging their feet. But, the Darkside Collective Ministry has already made it further then any other religion without a spiritual Deity within Canada.
Scott has a series of tattoos:

a "Baphomet" (universal symbol of Satanism: goat's head within an inverted-pentagram) on his upper-left arm

"666" on his right-wrist (in an orientation that was designed by Occultist Aleister Crowley)

* the "Microcosmic Man" on his upper-right arm, Leonardo Da Vinci's "virtuvian man inside a regular-pentagram" (the microcosmic man was used by alchemists for centuries to represent "God"), and

*a symbol of the "Order of the Trapezoid" on his left-wrist
Scott does not yet have the tattoos marked with the *, but is planning to get them done in the very near future, pictures of the last two tattoos will be added when photos of the tattoos are available.
Scott is currently designing two tattoos of Templar/Freemasonry hybrid symbols that he plans to one day get down on both lower arms. When he gets into Law Enforcement, he also plans to get the Law Enforcement Agencies Logo tattooed to his chest, the only one he plans to have done in colour (with his "Reg. number"). Scott has not yet ruled out getting further tattoos in the future, but says it is very unlikely before he has children.
In the early spring of 2005 Scott, curious how he would look with out any hair, after realization that heredity was starting to kick in, decided to shave his head for the first time. Although the shaved head is a common feature for Scott's appearance, he has decided he would continue to let his thinning hair grow out during the frigid Canadian winters for the near future.
The founder wanted it made perfectly clear that he did not shave his head during any absurd fictional ritual, nor to look more like the greatest fraud of the Satanic Community, named Anton LaVey.
Scott is an avid animal lover who has a great affinity for all animals which prompted him to join the World Society for the Protection of Animals (WSPA) which has since been ratified as one of the charities specifically chosen for support by the Darkside Collective International Ministry. Scott specifically loves dogs and has had a dog of his own since he was a young child, dog number three died in late-April 2008 in the Calgary home of his parents, where she had been since 2005 when Scott was living in an apartment building that did not allow dogs. On February 20, 2007 Scott and his fiancé adopted a one-hundred-pound male golden retriever puppy (born November 4, 2006), that they named "KUMA" (Japanese for "BEAR") whom both Scott and his fiancé love to play with and take for walks when both Scott and his fiancé are not busy with work and work related activities. Scott is now starting to train "KUMA" to jog with him as part of his workout regime.
Scott has been with his fiancé since March 22, 2003 and proposed on July 28, 2007. The two have set their wedding date as January 17, 2009 (exactly five days after what will be Scott's 30th birthday) and plan to be married in a private ceremony (which Scott is writing himself) with under 100 members of their family. After the wedding, Scott plans to have his first name, "Braedon", legally replaced by his middle name, "Scott", when his fiancé under takes the paperwork required to change her name.
